I've been trained with a rapier, and I am looking for anyone who might be willing to spar with me. O-or maybe if anyone is interested in learning, I could teach them! Maybe a fencing club... I don't believe there is one at the academy yet, and I suppose I could find the paperwork for it... Ah. Thank you for your reply and your interest.

If you decide there's value in starting a fencing club--invaluable in my opinion--I ask that you inform me of the requirements. I'm certain it's going to be quite a bit of work and it would be unfair to ask you to shoulder the burden alone.

If anything, just having a dependable partner to train with is pleasing enough.

I'm inclined to agree. Training with a foil can provide a bit of discipline and finesse, something any good fighter must have. I'll be in touch as soon as I find out what's required. Thank you! I'm glad I could meet someone else as interested in the blade as I am!
